In a Family Trust, the usual Primary Beneficiaries specified are (for example) the husband and wife.
Any children and grandchildren etc of any of the Primary Beneficiaries are automatically included as Primary Beneficiaries and need not be specified.
The general beneficiaries specified in the deed automatically includes a wider range of relatives of the primary beneficiaries, such as their spouses and children, charitable institutions, any company in which a beneficiary holds an interest or any other trust of which a beneficiary is also a beneficiary. How Many Primary beneficiaries are to be Included? For practical reasons no more than four Primary Beneficiaries can be specified.
